Cultural Tours 2024

I have just returned from a profound and awe-inspiring trip to Mäpuru in East Arnhem Land on Yolŋu Country.

🌀Corrugated and undulating roads
🌀Layers of red dirt
🌀Generosity of spirit
🌀Learning weaving and ancient skills
🌀Care for Country and one another
🌀Connection and Gurrutu
🌀Foraging for bush & medicinal foods
🌀Refreshing swims in sacred waterholes
🌀Comforting fires
🌀Yarns and story telling
🌀Clear, vast skies full of shimmering stars
🌀Cultural reciprocity

I have returned with an open heart, my soul cracked open and a deep gratitude to the land and the people of Mäpuru - my new family. I have a feeling this is the start of a beautiful life long journey 💛

I will chase others.

Warmly

Dee Jones (she/her)
